Thoughts on Wolverine.
Non-spoilery:

OMG, ZIPACNA! Yeah, it took me about half the movie to realise where I had seen him before, but once I figured it out, it made sense why his face was familiar, but not his voice.

John McLane can take out a helicopter with a car. Wolverine can take out a helicopter with himself.

Also, Hugh Jackman has a very feminine waist, accentuated by ridiculously long legs. Remember when Wolverine was short?

Spoilery:

I was fairly disappointed in Remy's lack of an accent. Or, actually, in the lack of Remy at all. I expected him to have a larger part to play in the movie, but considering the lack of accent, perhaps it worked out for the best. >_>

And while I've never really read the Origins comics, I'm pretty sure they never mention Wolverine and Sabretooth being brothers in the other comics. I kinda liked it better when we all thought he was Wolverine's creepy stalker ex-boyfriend.

Although, nothing beats Hugh Jackman's "what the fuck are you doing? what the fuck is wrong with you?" facial expressions in the beginning of the movie.

I think the people behind us wanted to kick us in the head for singing the lumberjack song for half the damn movie. With a brief interlude of the Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksman song.

ALSO, apparently different theatres got different endings!!!!!!! Which one did you get? We got the one where he's in the Japanese bar.

It was doing so well until they revealed Project XI as Deadpool. NO! A Deadpool who cannot talk is NOT Deadpool! And his only power is a healing factor you bastards! You messed up an awesome character!

My roommate and I are going with the rationalization that that Deadpool couldn't really confirm he was Wade, therefore this is some different dude named Deadpool. LALALALAICAN'THEREYOULALALA

However, even if he is technically too tall for the part, Hugh Jackman remains AWESOME as Wolverine.

Oh, and the de-aging make up made Patrick Stewart look remarkably plasticine.

That's because it wasn't make up, it was CGI. There was no Patrick Stewart.

Talia and I were also upset about Deadpool. So were the guys who drove by us in the parking lot and shouted "THEY SCREWED UP DEADPOOL!" out their window, apparently.

And yeah, I think he's an awesome Wolverine, nonetheless.

When I mentioned Wolverine and Sabertooth being brothers, Barb said she already knew that bit. So I'm guessing it was mentioned somewhere before.

Well, balls.

But then again, I'm selective about which comics I read, and often when I see it's another issue about Wolverine and Sabretooth, I'm like "yaaaawn, that again?" and pass over it.
