Thoughts on Wolverine.
Non-spoilery:
OMG, ZIPACNA! Yeah, it took me about half the movie to realise where I had seen him before, but once I figured it out, it made sense why his face was familiar, but not his voice.
John McLane can take out a helicopter with a car. Wolverine can take out a helicopter with himself.
Also, Hugh Jackman has a very feminine waist, accentuated by ridiculously long legs. Remember when Wolverine was short?
Spoilery:
I was fairly disappointed in Remy's lack of an accent. Or, actually, in the lack of Remy at all. I expected him to have a larger part to play in the movie, but considering the lack of accent, perhaps it worked out for the best. >_>
And while I've never really read the Origins comics, I'm pretty sure they never mention Wolverine and Sabretooth being brothers in the other comics. I kinda liked it better when we all thought he was Wolverine's creepy stalker ex-boyfriend.
Although, nothing beats Hugh Jackman's "what the fuck are you doing? what the fuck is wrong with you?" facial expressions in the beginning of the movie.
I think the people behind us wanted to kick us in the head for singing the lumberjack song for half the damn movie. With a brief interlude of the Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksman song.
ALSO, apparently different theatres got different endings!!!!!!! Which one did you get? We got the one where he's in the Japanese bar.
